School Holiday

It's school holiday time again and its a great time to paint at Crumbles because:

• We increase our hours during the school holidays to give everyone a chance to paint pottery!
• We supervise pottery painting for children of ages 5-13 years for up to 1.5 hours - Just enough time to have a coffee and time out for you!
• We have school holiday programmes for children of 5-13 years from 9.30am - 2.30pm.
• We make awesome projects!
• You don't need to book to come into Crumbles, however it is advised!
• We can cater for groups of up to 50 painters at one time.
• You can come by yourself or with a group.
• We have attentive staff, and excel at helping you paint the best pottery piece possible.

School Holiday Hours

• Monday 9.30am - 4.30pm & 7pm- 9pm
• Tuesday/Wednesday/Fridays 9.30am - 4.30pm
• Thursday 9.30am - 7pm
• Saturdays - 10.30am - 4.30pm
• Sundays - Prior Bookings ONLY

During these hours you can come in and enjoy painting with your children, they can choose what they paint, plates, bowls, money boxes and trinket boxes are all favourites and we are on hand to help them every step of the way. You are welcome to paint too! All you pay for are the pieces you choose to paint. Over 150 different ceramic pieces to choose from. Most pottery items priced under $30.

Surpervised Painting

You are welcome to bring in your children aged 6 - 13yrs and leave them to paint with us for up to 1.5 hours anytime during the school holidays, you will be required to leave us a contact mobile number and phone number and you will be contacted if your child finishes their piece before the 1.5 hours is up. Your child must be aged 6-13 years to be left in the studio. There is an additional fee for this service of $5 per child if the piece they paint is $20 or more or $10 per child if they paint a piece under $20.

Crumbles 'Art'venture Holiday Programme

Your child’s creativity will soar when they take part in our July School Holiday Programme. We have two 2-day courses and a 1-day course to inspire creativity. Our projects are chosen to suit artists of all ages and abilities. With an emphasis placed on creating rather than the final product children are given the confidence to try things they may never have had the confidence to do before. These classes are limited in size!

Week One

Underwater Adventures

Spend 2 days underwater, creating & painting sea creatures. Using a mixture of mediums such as wet clay, ceramics, cardboard etc. Cost is inclusive of all materials and projects.

All About Me!

This 1-day class will be busy and fun filled, as we will be painting 3 pieces today, a mug, cereal bowl & dinner plate! Paint a matching set or make them all different the choice is yours! Cost is inclusive of all materials and projects.

Week Two

Funky Time Techniques

Spend 2 days learning the tricks of the trade when painting ceramics. Painting with a mixture of techniques you will have some professional looking ceramic pieces at the end of the two days. Also includes a clay project. Cost is inclusive of all materials and projects.

Crumbles Art Show

Join us for ‘Art’ventures Art Show to be held on
Monday 19th July 2010
5.30pm – 7pm.
All the wonderful creations made during the holiday programmes will be displayed so parents, grandparents & friends can come and admire the pieces completed over the holidays. All children participating will achieve certificates.
